Blog · US B2B
B2B SEO and GEO, written out in full
Four long answers on getting a US B2B company found on Google and named by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude. Every number states its source and its year inside the sentence that makes the claim. Nothing is behind a form, because a page a crawler cannot read is a page an AI assistant cannot cite.
Four articles, published 23 September 2026. No schedule and no newsletter, an article goes up when the answer is worth the length.
Start with the question you actually have
Four questions, four long answers.
They are ordered the way the problem usually arrives: first whether machines can read you at all, then whether they will name you, then what it costs, then what to do when the traffic shows up and the enquiries do not.
Does your website exist to an AI crawler?
If you only read one, read this one. A single command shows you exactly what GPTBot, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot receive from your server. Sites that render their text in JavaScript, or sit behind bot protection, often return an empty page, and an empty page is never cited.

How to get ChatGPT to recommend your business
There is no advertising slot in an AI answer, and anyone selling you one is selling something else. What the engine reads before it names a company: four surfaces, and what happens when they contradict each other.

SEO or paid ads for B2B: which, and when
Ads work the day you fund them and stop the day you stop. Search is the opposite trade. What each costs, how long each takes to pay back, and the cases where ads are the right answer and search is not.

Traffic but no leads, and no testimonials to show
Six things you can publish that a stranger is able to check, none of which requires a client to write you anything. Also why the invented version is not a grey area but an FTC matter.

How these are written
The same rules we would apply to your pages.
This site is the working example. If the method did not hold up here, there would be no reason to believe it holds up anywhere else.
The answer comes first
Every article opens by answering its own title in its first paragraph, before any context. The KDD 2024 study on generative engine optimization measured this directly: citing sources, quoting and adding statistics lifted visibility in AI answers by up to 40 percent, while keyword density moved nothing.
Every number names its source
Inside the sentence, with the year, linked. Where we have no figure, the sentence is written without one rather than with a rounded guess. An assistant that cannot trace a claim will not repeat it.
Nothing is gated
No form in front of the text, no download, no newsletter wall. A gated page is invisible to every crawler that would otherwise quote it, which makes gating the most expensive way to collect an email address.
If you would rather not do it yourself
What we do, with the prices published.
SEO and GEO audit
What Googlebot, GPTBot, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot each receive from your server, what is missing, and what it costs to fix.
Generative engine optimization
Getting named in AI answers: the surfaces that decide it and the work that moves them.
B2B content
Pages that answer a buying question, rather than posts that rank for words nobody buys from.
Lead generation
Enquiries that arrive because someone was looking, without cold calling.
FAQ
About this blog.
How often does BVA publish?
There is no schedule, and we would rather say so than invent one. An article goes up when there is a question worth a long answer and we can source every number in it. Four are published as of September 2026.
Is any of this gated behind an email address?
No. There is no form in front of any article, no download, and no newsletter wall. Gated content cannot be read by a crawler, which means it cannot be cited by an AI assistant, which defeats the purpose of writing it.
Why does every article name its sources inside the sentence?
Because that is what the measurement says works. The KDD 2024 study on generative engine optimization (Aggarwal et al., ACM SIGKDD, August 2024) found that citing sources, quoting, and adding statistics raised visibility in AI answers by up to 40 percent, while keyword stuffing did nothing. The articles are written the way we would write a client's.
